Getting started
A material takeoff lists every material and task required for the project, organized by division and linked back to the drawing it was measured from. It's delivered as both a PDF and an editable Excel file.
Send over your project plans and drawings along with a short note on what you need quantified. We'll review the scope and reply with a quote covering cost and turnaround time before any work begins.
No. Reviewing your plans before you commit is part of how we make sure the scope and timeline are right for your project — there's no charge for that initial review.
Pricing & turnaround
Pricing depends on project size and scope. Single-trade residential estimates typically start around $100, full multi-trade residential projects run closer to $800, and large multi-story commercial estimates can reach up to $8,000.
Most estimates are completed in 3 to 12 business days depending on project size and complexity. We don't take on rush jobs that would compromise accuracy.
Turnaround is based on what we can complete accurately, so we generally avoid rush pricing. If your bid deadline is tight, let us know up front and we can confirm whether the timeline works before starting.
Deliverables
Every estimate is delivered as a PDF summary alongside an editable Excel workbook, with quantities organized by division so they can be reviewed or adjusted directly.
Yes. Quantities can be organized by room, building unit, trade, or bid division depending on what makes the most sense for your project and how you plan to use the numbers.
Yes. Each line item is cross-referenced back to the sheet and detail it was measured from, and questions go directly to the estimator who built the takeoff.
